A Taste of Scotland’s Wild Side: Introducing Our New Gorse & Scots Pine Sorbets
At Jannettas Gelateria, we’ve always believed that great gelato & sorbet isn’t just about flavour – it’s about capturing a moment, a memory, and a sense of place.
This summer, we’re bringing you something truly special. We’ve teamed up with Marian and Simon Bruce of Highland Boundary to create two brand new sorbets that celebrate Scotland’s wild botanicals in every refreshing scoop.
🌿 Gorse Sorbet
Think of a spring walk along the Scottish coastline, golden gorse flowers glowing in the sunshine and their delicate honey scent filling the air. This sorbet captures that gentle floral sweetness perfectly.
🌲 Scots Pine Sorbet
Imagine stepping into an ancient pine forest, where the cool, resinous scent of Scots pine surrounds you. Crisp and invigorating, this sorbet tastes just like that peaceful moment under towering trees.
Why Highland Boundary?
Based in beautiful Perthshire, Highland Boundary creates spirits and liqueurs using wild Scottish botanicals. Their deep respect for the land and passion for native plants shine through in every flavour they craft.
When we first tasted their creations, we knew these flavours deserved to be shared in a different way. Together, we’ve created sorbets that tell the story of Scotland’s landscapes and the plants that thrive here.
A Celebration of Nature and Craft
This collaboration combines our Italian gelato heritage with Scotland’s natural wildness. Each sorbet is carefully made in our gelateria kitchen, blending Highland Boundary’s botanicals with our traditional techniques to create something refreshing, unique, and full of story.
When Can You Try Them?
